Eurocubes: construction, types and areas of application

What combines car washes, oil and chemical industrial enterprises, construction sites and private houses? It is actively used in all the listed areas Eurocubes ! Eurocube – it medium-tonnage container of cubic shape , made by the blowing method. It is made of high-strength, low-pressure polyethylene (HDPE), which provides the capacity with many advantages: reliability, resistance to atmospheric and mechanical impact, as well as the possibility of multiple use.

CONSTRUCTION

The polymer container itself is called a "Eurocube flask", however, in the complete design, it is complemented by a metal grid on the outside and a pallet for increased cargo security, that is transported. The tray can be metal, wooden or polymer. The flask is equipped with a neck diameter 15 centimeters, with cover and ventilation valve, and at the bottom is the drain tap.

As a rule, the weight of the Eurocube is approx 53 kilograms (plus minus 10 kilograms), and standard volume – 1000 liters. Thanks to the convenient and functional form, the container is easily filled, efficiently loaded into warehouses or platforms and optimally emptied, leaving minimal residual content. Eurocubes can be placed on top of each other during transportation, most often contained in one row 4 Eurocubes. The metal crate prevents the formation of liquid waves and ensures better "adhesion" of Eurocubes with each other. Usually, the exact dimensions of the container are marked on the flask, and the standard Eurocube has a length of 1200 mm, width 1000 mm, height 1160 mm (errors in all directions can be 10 mm). The original and most common color of Eurocube – white, that is, a natural type of HDPE,

SEE

You can notice when buying a Eurocube, that the same demand is used as new Eurocubes , so and so used Eurocubes . That's the point, that new ones are most often used in production, however, after their use, the company can get rid of them. Since the capacity is characterized by special endurance and stability, even after repeated use, its potential does not decrease, and therefore, it is of great interest to private consumers. Let's take a closer look at the main types of Eurocubes.

For the most part, Eurocubes can be divided into two main categories: food and technical. The first category is intended for storage and transportation of liquids, related to food products: vinegar, oil, water, etc. The second category is made for liquids, which have an industrial purpose: meadows, fuel mixtures, acids, etc. slightly different wall thickness (from 1,5 up to 2 mm) and some other differences. In general, they are quite similar.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The main areas of their use follow from the mentioned types of Eurocubes: chemical enterprises, petrochemical plants, construction objects, food enterprises, gas station, car washes, etc.

It is also worth mentioning the use of Eurocubes, that were in use – them, as a rule, summer residents or owners of country houses are interested. The reason for this interest is the multitude of ways to use Eurocubes on the site, you can make them:

  • storage tanks for collecting rainwater
  • shower container without tray
  • waste or fertilizer container
  • septic
  • capacity for watering the territory
  • mini pool and much more.

THERE ARE, however, important notes on the use of used containers. Firstly, under no circumstances should they be used for drinking water - only if the buyer is absolutely sure, that the Eurocube was originally used for this. If chemicals or technical fluids were previously stored and transported in it, then the substances ate into the polymer material, and even after thorough washing they cannot be removed – the water will be spoiled, if not poisoned. Secondly, before using a used Eurocube, it must be properly washed.
